Kendra focuses her practice on a diverse range of complex litigation including toxic tort, products liability, and personal injury cases, in jurisdictions throughout Illinois and Missouri. Kendra has significant experience working with clients on the defense of asbestos and toxic tort claims, including the defense of products and premises liability claims arising from occupational and environmental exposures where she regularly defends companies of all sizes in the fields of construction, manufacturing, engineering, distribution, transportation, and aviation. She actively manages a heavy volume of cases covering multiple high risk jurisdictions which involves preparing and answering written discovery, preparing significant pleadings and motions, defending the firm’s clients at depositions, and deposing opposing parties and experts.

Prior to law school, Kendra worked as a legal secretary and paralegal. While in law school, she served as a Taylor Mattis Fellow, was a member of the Moot Court Board and was inducted into the National Order of Barristers for her outstanding participation and performance as a student advocate.

A native of Steeleville, Illinois, Kendra began her career at Heyl Royster in the summer of 2010 as a summer associate and joined the firm's Edwardsville office as an associate in 2011. Kendra is proud to serve as a peer support volunteer for the Third Judicial Circuit through the Illinois Lawyer’s Assistance Program. Kendra enjoys spending her free time volunteering for animal rescue organizations in the St. Louis area.
