Jessica Sarff (Associate)

Jessie concentrates her practice in the areas of appellate advocacy, business and commercial litigation, railroad litigation, trucking, and insurance coverage.

Jessie joined the firm’s Peoria office as an associate in 2017, after serving as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Daniel L. Schmidt of the Illinois Appellate Court, Third District. Prior to her judicial clerkship, she served as a research attorney for the Illinois Appellate Court, Fourth District, and as a summer law clerk for Heyl Royster in 2013.

Jessie received her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University in 2011 and her J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law, summa cum laude, in 2014. While in law school, she served as the lead articles editor for the Southern Illinois University Law Journal. She was also extremely active in the school’s moot court program, where she served as the board’s first-ever brief writing justice and participated in several national competitions. Jessie is a twelve-time CALI Award winner, Phi Kappa Phi and Academic Excellence awardee, and a member of the Order of Barristers.
