Jacqueline Korn (Associate)

Jacqueline joined the firm as an associate in 2019. Jacky received her J.D. from Northern Illinois University College of Law. While in law school, she worked as a legal extern for the Lake County States Attorney’s Office and the Boone County States Attorney’s Office. Jacky obtained her Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 license while working at the States Attorney’s Offices, which afforded her invaluable courtroom experience. While working for the States Attorney’s Offices, she appeared before civil and criminal judges, arguing hearings and conducting trials. Additionally, she was a summer associate at a civil litigation defense firm in Chicago, focusing primarily on medical malpractice, premises liability, and products liability defense. Jacky also served as the Chief Judge Law Clerk for the Honorable Shelley Sutker-Dermer, Presiding Judge of the Second Municipal District in the Circuit Court of Cook County.

During law school, Jacky was selected to compete in the Moot Court National Appellate Advocacy Competition in San Francisco, California. She also competed in Northern Illinois University College of Law’s internal Moot Court and Mock Trial competitions. She also served as the Treasurer of Phi Alpha Delta and as a mentor in the Women’s Law Caucus.

Prior to law school, Jacky worked in the enterprise cabling and security solutions industry in the Chicagoland area, where she focused on creating security solutions for data centers nationally. Jacky received her B.A. in Communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2014 where she also earned a Multicultural Certificate.
