Jacque focuses her practice on defending clients in civil litigation including the areas of Class Actions/Mass Torts, Toxic Torts & Asbestos, Dramshop Liability, and General Tort Litigation. Jacque joined the firm’s Chicago office as an associate following her graduation from law school in 2019. She received her J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Illinois College of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University – Bloomington in Theatre & Drama. While in law school, Jacque held several leadership positions including: Peer Advisor, Women’s Law Association Mentor, and Student Coach for the University of Illinois College of Law Trial Team. Furthermore, she was a competing member of the award winning University of Illinois College of Law Trial Team in addition to being on the Dean’s List in 2017 and 2018. After her 1L year, Jacque gained valuable legal experience as an intern for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois where she represented the United States in petty offenses and assisted AUSAs in high profile human trafficking, narcotics, and gang trials. In addition to her experience with Trial Team, Jacque gained courtroom experience by using her 7-11 license during her 2L Spring at the Champaign County State’s Attorney’s office prosecuting perpetrators of domestic violence. During her 2L Summer, Jacque worked in Civil Litigation and White Collar Crime in addition to authoring a brief submitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Prior to law school, Jacque worked as a stand-up comedienne in the Chicago area performing at venues such as: Second City, The iO Theatre, and The Annoyance Theatre. Professional Associations
