Mitchell focuses his practice on defending clients in civil litigation, including in the areas of Business and Commercial Litigation, Business Organizations & Transactions, Casualty/Tort Litigation, and Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy. Mitchell earned his J.D. from Michigan State University in May of 2019. He was sworn in to the Bar in the State of Maryland in December of 2019 and the State of Illinois in September of 2020. Mitchell has experience in government compliance through an internship with the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he served as a White House Liaison Intern in Washington, D.C. He acquired a variety of legal experience through additional internships at Legal Services of Eastern Michigan in Flint, Michigan and the State Attorney’s Office, 20th Judicial Circuit in Punta Gorda, Florida. Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Arts-Political Science degree (cum laude) from the University of Florida (May 2015), as well as a Master of Public Administration degree from Florida Gulf Coast University (August 2020).
