Attorneys
Jim focuses his practice on defending clients in civil litigation matters across a variety of practice areas. Jim earned his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in May of 2021. Between his first and second year of law school, Jim worked as a summer associate for The Janssen Law Center, where he primarily dealt with plaintiffs’ litigation. Between his second and third year of law school, he interned at the Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office. During his third year of law school, he worked for Owings, Wilson & Coleman in Knoxville, TN, where he was exposed to litigation and transactional matters. Prior to attending law school, Jim graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he pursued a major in Political Science and a minor in Business. While at the University of Illinois, Jim worked as a resident advisor at the St. John’s Catholic Newman Center dormitory for three years and was a member of the Illinois Business Council for two years.
