Britanny focuses her practice defending clients in civil litigation, including Casualty/Tort Litigation, Contract Disputes, Construction, Toxic Torts & Asbestos, and Workers’ Compensation.
Britanny joined Heyl Royster’s Chicago office as a summer associate in 2020 and joined the firm full-time in the fall of 2021. Britanny earned her J.D. from DePaul College of Law in Chicago, Illinois, and her B.S. from Loyola University Chicago where she majored in Environmental Science.
While at DePaul, Britanny served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Franklin U. Valderrama in the Northern District Court of Illinois during her third year, and the Honorable Judge James McGing in the Circuit Court of Cook County during her second year. She also served as a board member on the DePaul Appellate Moot Court Society team. Britanny competed in four moot court competitions, competing and placing as a top performer in all four. She was selected as a national member for The Order of Barristers for her excellency in courtroom advocacy. Britanny also served as a teaching assistant for an advanced legal writing course.
