Mandy concentrates her practice in toxic torts & asbestos, product liability, mediation services/alternative dispute resolution, and not-for-profit organizations.
Having grown up in Madison County, Illinois, a hotbed of litigation, Mandy Williams has worked in the legal field in various capacities for two decades. She has extensive experience helping companies large and small make informed and proactive decisions to keep them in control of the chaotic and confusing litigation process. Though she doesn’t hesitate to take her battle over important issues into the courtroom, she appreciates how effective out-of-court advocacy can be to a client’s overall success. A trained mediator, she is a proponent of formal and informal means of Alternative Dispute Resolution and has a reputation amongst her colleagues as an even-keeled, logical, and successful negotiator. In a practice focused on the defense of products liability and toxic tort cases, these skills are increasingly useful as companies seek outside-the-box answers and administrative solutions in the face of ever-shifting litigation threats.
It is important to Mandy to work with her clients to develop an individualized approach to litigation defense that looks beyond just their immediate and local needs, ensuring their litigation strategy protects their interests across jurisdictions and supports their long-term overall goals. Building on this perspective, she completed an immersive and comprehensive formal curriculum to become a Certified Litigation Management Professional in 2017. As part of various national coordinating counsel, trial counsel, and local counsel teams, clients have valued the insight she provides as a legal advisor who can address their potential liabilities and zealously defend their interests in a way that also makes good business sense. Even when in an executive role, Mandy is still a key boots-on-the-ground player and enjoys taking an active part in the implementation and execution of a clients’ defense.
