Dillon Borri dedicates his practice to casualty/tort litigation, trucking, product liability, toxic tort, and asbestos.
Prior to joining Heyl Royster, Dillon served as an Assistant State's Attorney for the Madison County State's Attorney Office. During his tenure, he prosecuted hundreds of cases ranging from traffic violations to Class A misdemeanors and tried more than 20 bench and multiple jury trials to verdict. Dillon received his J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2021. In law school, Dillon was a member of the Mock Trial Team, where he competed in national competitions testing in oral advocacy. Further, he spent his summers between law school as a law clerk at Land of Lincoln Legal Aid, representing indigent individuals throughout rural areas of southern Illinois, and as a 711 intern for the Madison County State's Attorney's Office. During Dillon's third year of law school, Dillon spent a semester working for the Honorable Justice Mark M. Boie on the 5th District Illinois Appellate Court, where he drafted multiple Rule 23 Orders.Dillon is an active member of the Madison County Bar Association and the Alton/Wood River Bar Association.
