Robert enjoys learning the ins and outs of every aspect of the case, taking a deep interest in the facts and subject of each matter he handles. A civil litigation attorney experienced in asbestos defense, nursing home defense, construction, commercial, and municipal litigation, Robert Jellen joined the firm in 2022, working out of its Edwardsville office. Robert deeply commits himself to the representation of his clients, learning every aspect of the subject matter and treating each case as though it will go to trial. He is client focused and believes that client experience and satisfaction are imperative, always making himself available and committing to achieving the best outcomes for his clients. Robert has represented numerous railroads in FELA cases throughout the country and has obtained dismissals of many of those cases prior to trial. He has also represented nursing homes in the metro-east area and has received a favorable trial verdict for the defense. Additionally, Robert has represented several municipalities, aided in securing a solar power purchase agreement, and secured funding for interstate expansion. In law school, Robert was named to the Order of the Barristers, a prestigious organization comprised of some of the best litigators and advocates in the country. Additionally, he earned recognition as a top oralist in a National Moot Court Competition. When not serving his clients, Robert enjoys golfing, playing guitar, and spending time with his dogs.
