Heyl Royster Represented at The 2023 IDC Deposition Academy

Heyl Royster's John Heil and Mark McClenathan served as Faculty Members at the 2023 Illinois Defense Counsel Deposition Academy on February 9 at the NIU Conference Center in Naperville, Illinois. In addition, John served as a presenter providing "on your feet" experiences for lawyers with limited deposition experience or those who would like to refine their deposition skills. Heyl Royster Associate Attorneys Kristina Bitzer, Emily Galligan, Matt Holm, Yu Ma, and Leah Nolan attended the 2023 Deposition Academy's intensive program. John Heil is co-chair of the firm's Business and Commercial Litigation practice group and leads the firm's attorney mentoring program. He takes great pride in teaching newer attorneys and, in so doing, emphasizes the value of a reasoned approach and respect for the judicial system. John serves on the IDC Board of Directors.
Mark McClenathan concentrates his practice in complex civil litigation for the trucking, transportation, and construction industries. Practicing law for over 33 years with Heyl Royster, Mark serves as chair of the firm's Trucking practice group. Additionally, Mark is on the IDC Board of Directors and serves on its Trucking and Construction committees.
