Firm Hosts Seminar/Webinar on "The Risky Business of Accepting Credit Cards"


On Tuesday, July 30, 2013, the firm’s Business and Commercial Litigation Practice hosted a seminar in Peoria entitled “The Risky Business of Accepting Credit Card Payments.” Whether or not you use a vendor to process payments, your organization is expected to satisfy certain PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requirements. Heyl Royster attorneys John Heil and Stacy Crabtree, along with John Poff, Director of Information Security at Pearl Technology, discussed those requirements and offered insights into what your organization can do to limit liability associated with credit card transactions.
