Grabowski and Taylor Take Part in IDC Toxic Tort Seminar


On March 9, Jim Grabowski and Tobin Taylor and participated in “A Beginner’s Guide to Mass Toxic Tort Litigation,” an Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel (IDC) seminar that provided insights into mass toxic tort litigation. Grabowski spoke on “Mass Toxic Tort Science 101,” a presentation that covered the diseases typically involved in asbestos litigation and the scientific fields implicated, including pathology, pulmonology, environmental science, industrial hygiene, B-reading, and epidemiology. Taylor moderated “From the Bench: A Judicial Roundtable Discussion on Mass Toxic Tort Litigation,” with panelists Judge Clare McWilliams of the Cook County Circuit Court and Judge Steven Ohmer from the 22nd Judicial Circuit (St. Louis).
