Heyl Royster Workers’ Compensation Practice Hosts Month-Long Webinar Series

Throughout the month of September, several attorneys from Heyl Royster’s Workers’ Compensation Practice took part in a four-part webinar series that addressed some of the trending topics of 2020. On September 3, Toney Tomaso spoke on, “COVID-19 Rebuttable Presumption: What We Are Seeing on the COVID-19 Front Lines and in the Trenches at the Commission.” The next webinar was covered by attorneys Bruce Bonds and Jessica Bell on September 10. Their presentation was titled, “Vocational Rehabilitation and Return to Work in the COVID-19 Age.” The third installment on September 17 was presented by attorneys Kevin Luther and Lynsey Welch. They covered topics including post-COVID-19 medical issues and FOIA requests. The last webinar of the series was held on September 24. Attorneys Brad Antonacci and Amber Cameron gave a case law update for 2020 along with an extremely up-to-date discussion of McAllister, whose appellate decision had been made just hours before the webinar began.
