The singularly distinctive accomplishments of Colonel Schag reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.”

Mike is now serving in an operational assignment supporting the legal advisory function at the 618th Tanker Airlift Control Center (TACC) at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. The 618 TACC’s role is to centralize command and control operations that were once located within several Numbered Air Forces. The TACC employs a wide range of military aircraft to achieve Air Mobility Command's Global Reach mission. These include the C-5 Galaxy, KC-10 Extender, C-17 Globemaster, C-130 Hercules and KC-135 Stratotanker. The TACC also works with commercial contractors to fulfill airlift requirements.
