Clayton’s Legal Apps Featured in iBi Publication

The April issue of iBi - InterBusiness Issues magazine contained an article on two mobile apps for the legal profession that were created by Roger Clayton: Second Chair Mobile (SCM) and Second Chair Mobile Jury.  As detailed in the article, SCM allows litigators to carry their case files (pleadings, medical records, exhibits and other documents) with them electronically instead of lugging around bankers boxes of hardcopies.

"The documents are kept electronically on the iPad and synched with their office files," said Clayton, who travels across the country for expert witness depositions carrying nothing more than his iPad, and who has tried complex medical malpractice cases completely paperless.

SCM Jury helps attorneys manage jury selection during trial. This app features selectable jury avatars, a customizable set of juror questions, and a color-coded slide-bar to register and illustrate impressions of potential jurors.
