Firm's Chicago Office Featured in Chicago Lawyer Magazine

Heyl Royster's Chicago office was featured in the Spaces column of the July issue of Chicago Lawyer magazine. The article discusses the firm's 105-year history in Illinois and more recent growth into the Chicago market.

"We'll grow as our client's needs grow," Chicago Managing Partner Tobin Taylor said in the article.

In addition to referencing the location as a "lawyer's building," directly across from the state courts in the Daley Center and in close proximity to the federal court and Workers' Compensation Commission, the article highlighted the office's conference rooms and communications capabilities (e.g., video conferencing, telephone, and presentation systems).

"We have to keep up with technology," said firm Managing Partner Tim Bertschy, as he pointed out that that there are many ways that the firm uses technology to benefit clients. "Keeping up with it is an ongoing thing in every office," Bertschy continued.

Taylor also commented that the style of the office reflects the firm's approach to the practice of law – "sophisticated" without being "extravagant or ostentatious."

"We are practical people," said Bertschy, "and [the new office] is something we felt our clients could feel comfortable in."
