Brady, Hill and Powell Author Article on Importance of Prisoner Grievance Process


Jana Brady, Keith Hill, and Theresa Powell published the feature article in the Fall edition of CorrectCare Journal, the magazine of the National Commission on Correctional Health Care, entitled “Grievances: Turn Lemons Into Lemonade and Reduce Legal Risk.” The article discusses the Prison Litigation Reform Act grievance requirement and instances where poor response to grievances enabled inmates to overcome grievance challenges and proceed to full-blown litigation.
