Hall Covers FMLA and ADA for IPARKS Newsletter

Patricia Hall authored “A Seventh Circuit Reminder: Consistency is Key” for the latest issue of the newsletter published by Illinois Parks Association Risk Services (IPARKS). Hall focused on the recent Seventh Circuit decision in Freelain v. Village of Oak Park, 888 F.3d 895 (7th Cir., 2018), in which the court considered both the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in finding that the employer acted consistent with its normal leave policies and therefore did not retaliate against the employee/plaintiff.
