Johnson Appointed to Serve on the Illinois Supreme Court’s Rules Committee


On January 1, 2019, Jennifer Johnson, partner in the firm’s Edwardsville office, was appointed to serve a three-year term on the Illinois Supreme Court’s Rules Committee. The committee is responsible for receiving and reviewing proposals for new rules, amendments to existing rules, and holding public hearings on meritorious proposals. The committee can also recommend alternate proposals. Of her newly appointed position, Jennifer says, “The Illinois Supreme Court Rules are important for all practitioners and it is an honor to be appointed to this committee. I am looking forward to working with colleagues around the state to consider changes to the rules.”
